Interesting, I live in Oregon and do some mining in the Bohemia mining district . Some of the ore is exactly like that . The old timer I got the claim from said to keep all the sphalerite as there is gold held up in it . Also this ore is very similar to the cripple creek ore out of Colorado . The Bohemia mining district was said to be the cripple Creek of Oregon . How is the silver content in that ore ? Also I find a lot of electrum in this district .

Vo-Gus Prospecting
Sphelerite and gold ore now on the website. Pretty cool piece of geology, Sphelerite is the primary ore of zinc. But also a great indicator for gold in the area.
This ore has a little bit of gold in it, but A LOT more zinc sulphide.
