Yeah, I don't know what came over me this week. But as you probably know, the sequel to TMB Axel's fan made interpretation has already completed production and is set to premiere tomorrow night at 10 PM, only a week after Dollface.
I don't know why, but Axel's story was much easier to work on than the previous few. That's probably because I've tackled this story before, just gave it the Harbor City treatment, fleshing it out as much as I could.
While not as intense and psychological as Dollface, it is pretty somber, dealing with the themes of loss, guilt, self-torment, and a hint of self-forgiveness.
I definitely went full throttle with this guy, like one of my viewers stated. But this is definitely 10X better than the version from Season 1. But it's good that he's out of the way now, because we're about to head into Lawmen territory.
The Lawmen storyline sort of marks the "half way point", for me. That's mainly because Agent Stone is in the center of my bulletin board, so at least half of the roster from TM Lost will be covered after Outlaw (SWAT) is finished.
The SWAT storyline is going to deal with some very different themes involving time loops and paradoxes, as well as finally giving Black Sorcerer a leading role, as he only appeared once at the end of Warhawk's story back in Season 1, where he failed to save him.
Outlaw II, on the other hand, is the more important one; giving an in-depth look at The Lawmen and their operations. While Carl & Jamie are the drivers of the cop car, they enter on behalf of The Commissioner, who's actually not a competitor in the tournament, due to him being an anomaly.
But the story will definitely touch up on a lot of important lore, and explain more about The Commissioner and why Carl & Jamie Roberts became corrupt. The SWAT one seems like it's going to be easier to work on, at least.
Anyways, yeah. Stay tuned for "Axel's Penance & Freedom" tomorrow night at 10 PM EST. I'll begin the preparations for Outlaw next week.
