You still can’t explain to me why bug is resisted by fairy. Both lore wise and gameplay wise it makes more sense to be strong against fairy. They just hate bug

Ah, yes, the rock type. The original defensive type... With 5 weaknesses... And the type in which all its original representatives (with the exception of Aerodactyl) have at least one 4X weakness.

I think the problem with ice type is it's frequently given to defensive Pokémon, and ice is a TERRIBLE defensive type. Giving it to more offensively inclined Pokémon would make it a lot more useful, basically turn it into the glass cannon type.

Other types that would be good are Ground, Ghost, and Dark. Ground is amazing for some reason with the main counter being Levitate or Flying types, Ghost being immune to 2 types (normal and fighting) and Dark being good against ghosts and basically disabling the Prankster Ability.

Water resisting Ice and not being weak to it is kinda insane to me. You make this glass canon hyper offensive type and make it resisted by the 2nd most common type in the game

Bug is probably my favourite type, with steel coming second. So I would like to see this^^. It always feels weird that some types are so much better than others.

Fire has since seen a resurgence in Gen 9 since A)It resisted Fairy and B) It synergizes very well with the Past Paradox forms.

tbh as a typing I consider psychic even worse than those 3, only resists itself and fighting, while ghost dark and bug are 3 really bad weaknesses to have, while offensively not being great besides hitting a bunch for neutral either

I always felt ice as some sort of unofficial triangle of hard materials along steel and rock. Therefore, I wish it could resist flying and normal. It makes a lot of sense to resist flying moves, as well as normal ones. Like, hard materials can't be damaged by normal force, but they can by an expert (fighting type) one. If we want to nerf also water type, ice could resist it too. Regarding fairy, it should have been weak to bug since day one. Therefore, bug would be strong against grass, dark, fairy and psychic, which is no joke. Fire shouldn't resist fairy, as fire itself is a rather strong type. It would have been better to give its resistance to grass types, who needs more resistances and is often looked down as the worst of the starter types. Regarding rock, I have no clues on what would help it: maybe resisting electric? I don't know. And one last thing: water should be weak to poison.

Ice I don’t think is abhorrently bad anymore, it’s quite a common type to see in the current metagame due to snow and with the crazy offensive ice sweepers added

Ice isn’t a bad type it’s just that all the mons are tanks its better now with snow fast ice types like weavile or chien pow are good and its why it fits if all poison types were offensive it would be the worst type
