All dogs are puppies forever, but TECHNICALLY speaking, most dogs are considered a puppy until they're 2 years old!!! And I just made a video outlining the best routine for any "puppy" to train all the things they need to know, watch here: https://youtu.be/L3YSoQNn20Y

We have a Belgian Shepherd Malinois. He was 4 months old when we received him. After 2 weeks he went to the door when he needed to go out. Started training him a bit after approx. 6 months- basic commands . We added training acc to age. At one point we moved on to off leash training

I feel like we were doing great with training until the vet said we were ready to get fixed. Post procedure plus all this snow has really sent us backwards ☹️

Smaller dogs mature quicker than larger dogs so it really just depends!

I have a bull terrier and they say under 2 they are still considered puppies.

I put down the 6 month, when they are 1, they seem older in their growth, and their way. That’s very interesting..

I always thought this was breed specific due to the different temperaments associated with different breeds. Interesting!

My question is...when do you stop feeding puppy food and transition to adult food?

Puppies are cute and cuddly and the puppy smell, but I can't wait for the 6 month mark when they become juvenile dogs and don't chew on everything, poo where ever and start to respond to simple commands.
