It is beautiful up there. We also came across a tarantula on our hike down in June. My son was super surprised. It was also cool seeing the fossils on the peak.

My wife and I just peaked it yesterday! Two days before we did Lost Peak, out of Dog Canyon.

I bagged this peak earlier this year--caught sunset and spent the night nearly alone in the minimalist camping area at 8K' It was awesome and I am glad you had similarly great visibility.
