Please, play them on a save file already complete. 😍👍🏼

You should play on a completed save file. Since it’s a couple of levels each World then it’s easier to do a completed file since you won’t have to redo the other levels to unlock them.

Given it's an alternate story that ties into the main one in a way that it assumes you've already completed the former, you may as well play the DLC levels on your completed save file.

All the levels will already have appeared within the areas of the main game, I think there's 2 star crossed levels per area , have already done it all. But if u were to start from scratch then the first levels dont appear until u have beaten Garimondo. I actually prefer the star crossed levels to majority of the normal levels. But as you and your sister have already beaten the main game anyways, you may aswell start just the star crossed levels on the same completed file of the main story.

Excited to play the new Kirby DLC, but I need your advice for the new Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Star-Crossed World DLC. What would you recommend?
My understanding is that the DLC levels are scattered throughout the worlds of the main game, starting after you finish world 1, and you have to beat the game before you have access to all of the DLC levels. I don't know if having a save file that's already complete would make us too OP, or if it would just save time because you don't have to play through the whole game again. Really appreciate any thoughts 🙏
