For me my favorites are watermelon, Werther's original hard Carmel candy, butterscotch, and.... That's pretty much it

Root beer/ sasparilla. Hard to explain why, just that it's so "old timey American" it completes the aesthetic. Guinness and potatoes make everything Irish, anything curry makes it Indian, soy sauce turns anything into Asian food like jalapeños and beans make any dish Hispanic. Old timey American style sweets? Apple pie and/or root beer floats, maybe cotton candy if it's carnival themed.

I've never seen so many fans of green apple. Thought I was the only one. Blue raspberry the obvious choice tho. So damn sweet and flavorful

No watermelon? Best candy flavor, but green apple is a close second. I remember stealing all the apple and watermelon Jolly Ranchers when I was a kid lol.

I'm not big on hard candy, but some time ago, designer jelly beans were the rage(Has it been 40 years since Reagan the "jellybean President?). I found I couldn't stop eating buttered popcorn flavor.
