So many conflicting definitions of colour seasons with little-no room for nuance (cool, neutral, warm; light, medium, dark; muted, medium, saturated (with different types of muted - grey/white/tonal)), and I think yellow tones suit summer more than spring (& vice versa) in terms of actual seasons, so I no longer believe in colour seasons. I find too many contradictions - mostly deep but fine in crisp pastels; mostly soft but not too soft, & only in medium-deep tones (not too dark/light); mostly cool but rust, red & warm chestnut brown are faves that work too - so I prefer a detailed description like this to a colour season that’s missing some fave colours & has several that really don’t suit me. I prefer your artistic colour palettes & seeing how selected colours work together in a capsule wardrobe to anything “prescriptive”.
