Yes. It's terrible during the summer. Like an oven. Winter is better. But nothing beats tent camping.

I’ve never van camped, however, I own my father’s 1997 GMC Sierra with a topper. Couple 2x4’s & and ab old door serve as my bed. I sleep in the back for quick trips to my hunting land & car races where you wait to enter. My dad did this for a dozen years, camping in the back of the GMC to go to GT races. I hope to rebuild the truck and keep her going. 200,000+ miles on her now!

Sure. A year ago I bought a car just for that and it's been a blast! A few times already in a few countries. I strongly recommend Norway. Absolutely amazing views and you can sleep almost anywhere.

I did for maybe three months. I started in New Mexico Lincoln national forest south into Texas, Sam Houston national forest south to Marfa Tx and East through the south.to Florida This was through the winter Springtime I headed north. Georgia Tennessee West Virginia. I have a tipi now
