I emailed my father’s Boxing story to a well known British actor Stephen Graham (Look him up) and his wife after working with him on set as an extra. We spoke and I told him that my dad made history as a boxer. I showed him photos of my dad with Mohammed Ali and others. He was excited and showed the images to other crew and cast on set. He gave a joint email for him and his wife and asked me to send them some stuff..My dad was the first Afro Caribbean boxer to win and defend the Lonsdale belt. His name was Bunny Sterling and online you will find photos and his boxing record. My dad’s confidential experiences with the Krays (notorious East London gangster brothers) In addition to my dad’s story, I sent them a fictional treatment idea for a Tv Drama/ Film. It was about a female gang called the Black Ladies. 6 months later their production company went into development. They now have a show called A Thousand Blows on Disney. About a Jamaican Boxer in 1890’s London who has problems with 2 East London brothers. There is a female gang called the elephant girls. They did exist in London and so did the Jamaican boxer whose character they used. Online, it says the idea was the Brainchild of Hannah Walter’s the wife of Stephen Graham. This is slightly different to the Baby Raindeer case, but I would like to know if there is anything I can do. The foundation of the storyline is MY idea that I sent to them. I’m broke, they are well off and could have afforded to buy the idea instead of revamping my ideas and passing it off as their own. This should not be allowed to happen and I would like Harvey and Mark to discuss how exactly I can move forward with this, if possible. Is my problem with Disney or the Actor and his wife. If I send proof, can Harvey please please write a post about it so that they are at least aware that I am not happy with their underhand business acumen. If not, they will do it again to someone else.
