Because nano is more of a sprint than a marathon. Maybe some helpful tips on what not to worry about for the month. Editing, dialogue, character development, subplots etc etc. What can be glossed over or even left out in a sped up first draft? And what can't be postponed in the first draft? What are somethings that can't be ignored?

I struggle with description. How do you approach describing a setting or specific things? Description can be tedious. How do you choose what to focus on to bring your setting or things alive? Just any tips that helped you. Another video idea I’d love, if you’re up for it, is seeing you write in real time with no edits. It would help so much to see what that process is like. Thanks!

Claire, what grammar book do you recommend? I’ve heard of Elements of Style of course. But is there one in particular that you prefer? Thank you very much.

Write with Claire Fraise
NaNoWriMo is just around the corner. Are there any writing-related videos I could make to help you prepare?
Do you want to see videos on writing fast, plot grids, other forms of plotting, character building, voice, POV, or something else? Comment your topic of choice and I'll make a video on it!
