Now that I finished Hollow Knight: Silksong, I’d figure I’ll briefly say what my personal favorite bosses in the game are from least to greatest.
15. Great Conchflies/Raging Conchfly (love how coordinated they were as a group. 1 attempt), 14. Fourth Chorus (got excited seeing it in Far Fields early. 1 attempt., 13. Bell Eater (NO ONE THREATENS OUR BELL BEAST & HER BABIES!!! 1 attempt), 12. Trobbio (Both fights. I used to dislike the first fight due to inexperience, but the 2nd fight changed my mind. 7-9 attempts 1st fight, 1 attempt 2nd fight), 11. Crawfather/The Court of Craws (the premise is just too silly & is just a better Groal. 1 attempt), 10. Phantom (close to how Hornet’s 2nd fight was. Her fog usage on phase 2 is cool to watch. 1 attempt), 9. Grand Mother Silk (she may not be the final boss, but she puts up a fair fight. 1 attempt), 8. Widow (the first major boss that took me multiple attempts + music is FIRE! 4-5 attempts), 7. The Last Judge (great fight to end Act 1. Plus the ball & chain censer is insane! 5 attempts), 6. Second Sentinel (a better Pinstress who look like they need a hug seeing their dead siblings. Good to know they survived 1 attempt), 5. The First Sinner (just Widow on 50 human pounds of sugar/caffeine & can heal. 1 attempt), 4. Coral/Crust King Khann (easy, but to quote Vegeta in a Christian-friendly way: “OH MY GOSH, HE’S SO GOSHDARN COOL!!!” 1 attempt, 2 if I’m counting that one gauntlet fail…), 3. Shrine Guardian Seth (RIP, Seth Goldman, your OC kicked my butt twice. 🫡), 2. Lace (the 3rd fight, specifically. Won’t say what it’s like, for spoiler reasons. 8 attempts), 1. Skarrsinger Karmalita (currently the NKG of Silksong for me. 2 attempts).
