I have always liked it. Is it the best? oh hell no, but I love how the beginning of it (like everything up to Baby) feels like OG Dragonball. I love how cocky Goku is and Pan's relationship with him. Trunks feels like a grown up DBZ Trunks and not "Future Trunks". The concept of all the energy filling up the Dragonballs that was meant to dissapate over centuries is really interesting and honestly Shenron being the "final villain" feels like it all comes full circle. Now it does have a ton of negative points too. Everyone is pathetic except for Goku and he gets his ass kicked a lot. Needless deaths, Vegetas Moutache, and Pan is pretty annoying at times. But I do love it though
