With heavy heart, and woeful sigh On injured uke we cast our eye And with our comrade, commiserate This truly is an awful fate The one and only of its kind Gone from body, but not from mind His tear-filled soul blinks through the screen But no post can tell of the pain unseen Though solace may our words impart, The broken uke has broke his heart 💔😱

Even if he gets a new one, it won't replace the one he lost. Grieve in your own way, my man

When in doubt, Michael: DUCK TAPE. Gives it character, too.

Its a pretty nasty crack, especially because its at the edge of the bridge, but I think with how low tension ukes are I think its repairable. Detune it to get tension off of it for now and take it to a luthier. They can take the back off, get the top realigned, and get some cleats on it! May not have as long of a lifespan as it could have had, but if you want to fix it I think you could 😊

We will be praying for you Michael during this sorrowful time. May you heal soon, and move on, but never forget our fallen ukulele, who will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.🙏🙏

It is with a heavy heart that I announce my new travel ukulele—the last instrument of its kind on the market—has arrived with a crack in the spruce.
