I swear the way BG3 handles some characters (and this particular topic) is just confusing🤦♀ You know I have mixed feelings about this game already

Oh, how did you find out? I found only notes how he tortured her (and I think a child that was mentioned in those notes (I think Raphael bathed Hope in his blood?) is Gortash) and thought it was about the whole House of Hope and and the right to own it

Yeah... Thats the reason why I started to be disgusted by him in act 3 and lost all respect for him... At first i found him very interesting and tbh an awesome character but when you learn more about him I just cant see him in a positive/cool way. He's a devil of course he ruins people lives but this kind of action shows how pathetic he is. 😬

BG3 SPOILERS.
after finding out the real reason why raphael kept hope prisoner - apparently she rejected his sexual advances, I thought it was something metaphorical about caging hope in hell and everything - I'm really weirded out by him and the whole situation.
I have a lot of upcoming projects and I still love him as a character, but I have to pretend this is NOT canon. I am against sexual violence in all its forms.
