Oh those mandolins can be so treacherous and inflict such serious injuries but I still love them and approach them like I'm trying to dance with an alligator on LSD. Sorry for your wound.

Oh nooo!! Hope it heals well asap! I got the Dash version of a mandoline bc I did not have the courage to deal with a regular one!

I do hope you will be back on your feet before christmas, I have not posted anything becuse i am moving back to queensland were i will be hopefully buying an bigger boat to live on. It’s odd, I just saw a video from another cooking channel that mentioned cutting his finger on a mandolin slicer too. It must be the season! Sorry for your injury! Feel better! I was going to mention that you have beautiful hands haha what are the odds?

Always wear the shark glove things when using a mandoline. Those things can be pretty dangerous. I would bet everyone that has ever used one has cut themselves. Get better soon lucky!

Sorry for the delay with the Bonne Maman Advent Calendar videos. I sliced my thumb open really badly on a mandoline slicer a few days ago. It's set me back a bit but I hope to have more of the videos posted soon.
