Totally just happened to me yesterday. The pain and grief is so torrential and unsettling. I pray that you also find comfort in the exceptional quality of life that you provided and how happy your baby was with you for its lifetime and now you both can rest with smiles on your faces in that peace. They will forever be your shadow and with you in your heart. Maybe you can go pet some puppies to help bring comfort only animals can.

I lost a really handsome 18y/o chihuahua in January. Gosh i was heart broken, we understand how you feel girly and the pain will get better eventually, right now just cry it out until your body tells you to. 💕

On 12.21.2023 I said goodbye to Riley 😔💔 I’ve never known grief like this. Almost everyday for the last 8.5 years she has been my shadow and I feel like a piece of me is missing now. I’m just glad she’s at peace ❤️
