We must pray that the next pope puts the Church back on track and returns to traditional values.

My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus' blood and righteousness I dare not trust the sweetest frame But wholly lean on Jesus' name On CHRIST the solid rock I stand All other ground is sinking sand.

Crazy how it happened Easter Monday. Sometimes GOD gives us a wink. I'm a Baptist but pray that this man of GOD may rest peacefully and live eternally with our Lord and Savior.

"I locked up 1,000 Catholics in a warehouse to compete to be Pope and win $1,000,000" - MrBeast, probably, because we live in a dystopian internet-run hellscape

I'm from the Philippines and I would love to have a conservative pope as Pope Francis's successor. I hope he is someone who would stand up for and defend traditional values and not kowtow to liberal globalist elitism.

Hopefully the next pope will actually be a Christian and not a left wing psychopath 🎯

In his last years, Pope Francis preached empty hell, religious relativism and opened the door for acceptance of homosexual couples in the Church, among many other similar, liberal heresies. I forgive him and I hope he was able to repeant before he died. I truly do hope he is in Heaven. But I'll be honest too, and I'll say what many are thinking. I am also deeply relieved... beyond words. Now we can finally get to rebuilding our torn, half-pagan, "liberalized" Church once again... if, Lord willing, we'll have a conservative in the Chair this time around. Rest in Peace Pope Francis. I will do my best to remember you for the good that you've also done in your time.

The number of people using this as a time to completely bash Pope Francis is a bit concerning. Praying for them, for him, and our next Pope 🙏

Exclusive to any religious word is that, the Son of Man Hashem said, ”So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.“

As we grieve the passing of Pope Francis and pray for the repose of his soul, my heart also turns to hope and prayer for the future. Lord, in this time of transition, I pray You raise up a shepherd after Your own heart—a pope who speaks with clarity and conviction to a world that is both deeply divided and deeply hungry for truth. One who can speak across political lines—not to validate them, but to call both left and right into the fullness of a Catholic worldview. I know I need that challenge too. May he be a man who understands the world we live in: one who engages social media wisely, speaks clearly when confusion spreads, and responds to scandal not with silence but with truth and mercy. The Church needs clarity, and the world needs her light. I pray for a pontificate that builds bridges: between East and West, between Rome and Constantinople. Lord, let this be a time of healing. I pray, too, for peace in Ukraine and all war-torn places—and for a fresh outpouring of grace that leads to renewal and growth. In so many places, especially here in the U.S., the Church seems to be fading. But You, Lord, can breathe new life into dry bones. Come, Holy Spirit. Guide Your Church. Raise up the shepherd we need. Revive Your people. And may the light of Christ shine brighter than ever.

I hope Francis is with God, but I’m not so sure. He said many things that were heretical, universalism being among them.

Jesus is still on the throne and he is the only mediator we need to the father.

I say this as a confessional Lutheran with absolutely zero use for the Roman office of the papacy, but…perhaps the next pontiff will actually be a Catholic.

Am I the only person who doesn't care? I was born and raised Catholic.....I still consider myself Christian but no long follow the Catholic shame narrative. Putting someone on a pedestal like this, to me , is the antithesis of what they preach. Hypocrite much?
