I think people underestimate how depressing it is to live in a dense city with a minimal amount of plants. Like not just some trimmed trees, mowed grass and bushes, but actual lush greenery with vines and flowers with a wide variety of plant life without being too uniform.

The change that's taken place all over Singapore since the 90s is incredible.the city was always clean but the main harbor was disgusting and now it's nice.

It’s SO AWES-some to see a WHOLE COMMUNITY EMBRACE ECO-SUSTAINABILITY FOR IT’s URBAN ENVIRONMENTS! It takes a MINSET COMMITTED TO ABUNDANCE & LONG-TERM GENERATIONAL INVESTMENT IN WELL-BEING!!! As a USA citizen, I am APPAULLED that we $pend more of our tax dollar$ on destructive & tech bubble ideas that put profit$ before people, when we could have been doing things like this years ago. It’s boring & stupid behavior but ignorant control freaks here in the USA. It’s too bad really, years of binary-political-power oligarchy in America has destroyed EVERYTHING BUILT UP IN THIS COUNTRY CREATED BY THE FOUNDATION & INFRASTRUCTURES SET-UP AS THE FOUNDATION OF USA’s most prosperous growth period post WWI/WWII, based on PROGRAMS SET UP as a “healing from the Great Depression” of 1929; and INSTEAD OF CONTINUING TO $UPPORT & UPDATE ALL OF THOSE CITIZEN WORK ACTIONS IN ALL AREAS & WALKS OF LIFE, we allowed them to expire & let those old men’s ideas (those old men who didn’t support the NEW DEAL) & wanted to continue unabashed capitalistic consumption & oligarchical promotions to CUT ALL SOCIAL SYSTEMS OF SECURITY created by the NEW DEAL to be stripped away & deconstructed, for the profit of a few. It has been floating on a false sense of values & reputation since the late 70’s early 80’s- ONLY the tech bubbles made it look like this country was expanding in NEW & VITAL DIRECTION$. Good for you Asia! I put my money on India! We do not need ideologies or tyrannical systems in our world leaders… we need ACTION$ like THI$!
