Modded Wii U or 3DS. They can play all their predecessors' games in their respective categories.

The Wii comes to my mind. You have the backwards compatibility with the GameCube, the virtual console of the NES, SNES, and the N64 all rolled into one. Plus, some of the games on Wii were not half bad.

GameCube! It was my first console so nostalgia is driving this choice hard lol. The system was awesome and had a bunch of great games. Lots of fond memories with Melee, Mario Party 6, Mario Baseball, the Pokemon games(XD & Colosseum) and Sonic Adventure 2.

SNES = Great graphics, great sound, awsome controller. Instant loading, superb library of games, NO online. No DLC Updates. Just complete games!

There are still some of my most favorite games stuck on N64, and enough other games will almost limitless replay ability. Until title like Body Harvest, Mystical Ninja Staring Geomon, Battle Tanx 1 & 2, and SpaceStation Silicon Valley find their way into current times, its hard to pick anything else.

Super Famicom/SNES, no contest as that system and it's library is one of the best in all od gaming history. The controller was another game changer at the time, and may just be the best gaming controller of all time.

I only own a Wii u but then I'm not a typical Nintendo guy.

Are we talking about from this point onward or retroactively? Because there's no way I'd remove the N64 from my childhood.

Even discounting the virtual console stuff, Switch has a shitload of remakes and collections of older games on top of the new ones ^^;

Gonna say Other and make that the Switch 2. Reason is by default it can already play Switch 1 games and then the Switch online for N64/Super NES. Then once it's eventually hacked, that's gonna allow more games to be playable for other systems.

The original NES. It literally resurrected the gaming industry from the grave and had an AWESOME library! SNES would be my second choice

I have a modded Switch and can play all Nintendo consoles up to the DS, PS1 and PSP and nearly all retro consoles using retroarch. I vote for the Switch.

They produced so many great consoles, but I would have to answer the Wii - there are some very awesome games on there PLUS there is actual backwards compatibility to GameCube games!!!!

If you could only ever have one Nintendo console, which would it be and why?
