I used a mains quadrupler when I made a gu-50 flame Clem.. it's not the best tube for it as you know but if you are worried about your gear in your room then yeah plasma flame is probably left off the projects list anyway 😀.. I had the meters come on in a unplugged power supply across the room running a 14MHz plasma flame 😀, .. I want to do a GU-39b flame with the full 13kW output at some point but I won't be doing it at my place 😀, my mate has a big place with 100A 415v 3ph so it will probably be at his in the summer... good to see you back making electronics vids mate

Sorry but there will not be a video on the vacuum tube plasma generator as no mater what I try I simply just CAN'T get it to produce ANY breakout, all I get is a lot of interference to my speakers and I dare not try it on the full voltage as the RF might destroy my equipment. I can get it to light a CFL but that's about it. So there won't be any trying it on a MOT or anything like that and I'm done with this. I'm done with plasma flame generators as I can never get them to work and I have no idea WHY, but I'm not done with Tesla Coils.
