Do you celebrate Thanksgiving proudly—or quietly now?

I celebrate Thanksgiving with dinner and family. Its neither loud nor quiet. Unless my uncle starts singing, then its quite loud.

So my Halloween figures are set up in front of the house, seated at a table set with a Thanksgiving Dinner (turkey & all the trimmings, and pumpkin pie), and I have my harvest wreath & signs & little scarecrows and such on display... and I've already started cooking... does that count as loud? IDC it's my favorite holiday, always celebrate it however I want.

Well, it’s usually around 60 family members in one place, eating a 2-3 pound plate of food each, then shooting clay pigeons until our arms wear out or it’s nap time. So, pretty quiet.

Where's the option for 'Its a normal work day'?

Our government may be a corrupt corporation infringing on all our rights, but that doesn't invalidate the aid given to our ancestors.

We alternate Thanksgivings between our house, and my wifes uncles house. We both live out in the country. So all the city family like to come to our houses on holidays. We also do Christmas here at our place. Its a big to do... We have lost a lot of of older people in the family (especially on my side), over the last few years, but we proudly keep it going. My wife, her mom, and an aunt have all the old family recipes down pat. So the food is like its always been, which is excellent. Family gatherings are a bit different these days. There isn't as many of us as their used to be. Its a little sad...but we have some young ones coming along, so the wheel keeps turning.

My blood type will gradually go from O+ to a sludge consisting of turkey gravy, wine, and bourbon between Thursday and Sunday. Happy Thanksgiving to my American brothers and sisters 🇺🇸... God bles

I never thought of being proud on Thanksgiving Day. I am always grateful and thank God for my many blessings. Your options could be stated better.

Sadly, I don't enjoy the privilege of celebrating Thanksgiving for my liberation front Royal tyranny nor for assistance offered by transatlantic neighbours. I'm stuck here, Chris. I'm English. However, were I to have been born in the (second) greatest nation in history, I'd be celebrating Thanksgiving like a m************. 😂
