Hi Jimmy, this is John Walker out here in western Maryland (Allegany County.) I just managed to "gut" the QSI decoder out of the Trainline CN U2g 4-8-4 tender that's been sitting on my workbench since last November... As far as I can tell, there's absolutely no markings on the wiring harness to indicate what is what (Left Track Feed Black, Right Track Feed Red, Common Blue +, Headlight White -, Motor Orange +, Motor Gray -, etc...) It looks like I'll be doing a lot of probing with my Multimeter and a circuit test light rigged up to a 9 volt transistor battery. Have you had any luck in "decoding" your wiring maze? I would love to share notes with you on this project if possible. You can reach me through Ross Kudlick via the NVMRRC in Vienna, VA. He has my email address and phone number. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you. Oh, and remember... Model Railroading is suppose to be FUN!
