NEW PODCAST EPISODE - Why you should NEVER Eat Brains | Podcast Collection 2

You might not need to be told this, but it’s a good idea to avoid eating brains. It doesn’t matter if they’re human brains, cow brains, or the brains of a relative; it’s almost always a really, really terrible idea...

It's an excellent episode. I learned something. I live in the Southeast US and you can buy cans of pig brains at the grocery store. Some people eat them with eggs 🤢

@EmotiveWise

This is one my favourite pieces of work. I'd already come across the Fore studying emotions, so delving back into their fascinating culture was great fun, as was looking into something which, as a Brit old enough to have eaten infected burgers as a kid, sometimes still keeps me up at night. I hope you all enjoy it!

I really enjoyed this one too. I live in the UK and was born in 1989, so I remember some of the BSE crisis happening, followed by foot and mouth in 2001, which also had farmers ending their own lives at an alarming rate. Minor feedback note: can we have a short outro? I find it a bit disorientating when podcasts end abruptly, I like to know the end is coming, lol.

Prions are tough resilient, used poorly, have horrific outcomes. Fascinating tho , I read so much on... Deadly Feasts ...a book ..scary and real as f. Good readings..and reference books to cross reference 😁 Astounding... Richard Rhodes books. All worth reading. Also a 90s book simply called Slaughhouse a white book written by a woman. Excellent 👍 It's mind bending however.. but I visited and snuck into places to see also

I'll have to listen to this! My gf's family is from SE Asia. There was a creamy dish on the table with cilantro, Thai chili's and jalapeños, similar looking to a cheese spread for crackers It looked beautifully delicious so I tried it. To my upmost dismay I immediately noticed a metallic taste mixed with an organ flavor. It was 🐖
