💯 facts on Wavys Last tip. I almost always close my eyes or mix with the lights off to concentrate on frequencies or sounds that I’m mixing. TRUST! Most of us made music on hardware/Gear and mixers and had no choice but to listen to music versus seeing it, Think about that! All those pretty meters and and colorful animated stuff you see on the screen is a huge distraction! Call me weird, but I can listen and mix better at night versus the day time

You came to me in crunch time. I just released a single I produced for an artist and the mix was not that great honestly listening back to it. I love your spirit.❤️

What do we do when the vocal is top notch but the flow is garbage and could be fixed with editing? I worry that I might offend the client if I mention the flow because they get sensitive about stuff like that.

That session felt like a total failure, but it taught me so much:
1️⃣ Prep is key.
2️⃣ Deadlines shouldn’t sacrifice quality.
3️⃣ Fundamentals > plugins.
4️⃣ Trust your ears.
5️⃣ Open communication = happy clients.
If you’ve had a mix go wrong, don’t quit—learn from it. 🎛️
