1.5 - 2 x depends on the information and who's talking.

I would 3x if they had the option. Love that with audiobook apps like Libby

Usually 1.0. Some people talk like in 1.0 when you speed it up to 1.25 or even 1.5 tho. And if it's a long video, like a 3 hour interview podcast, I often bump it up to 1.5. The ear acclimatizes to it surprinsingly quickly.

Between 1.5-2 times, unless I have time to fill or it is a complex/deep subject matter.

If there's music in the background (especially the electronic techno or binaural beats or whatever that people play to try to control your mood), then I can't stand speeding it up, as it makes the music unbearable.

Never watch anything above 1.0 Don't know why I would do otherwise. Ich choose what Video I am interested in and Take the time it takes. Don't need to rush anything.

3 sometimes 4, I am using extension. It saves you a lot of time and makes your brain more agile because you understand things much faster

It's usually 2x bro, Its really hard to listen for some one talking with normal speed

I’ve been doing 2.0x for many years. Took a bit of time to get used to it, but now it’s my normal.

It varies, depending on the speed of their speaking and the speed of my brain at any given moment very few content creators do I listen to at regular speed and I really love this new control feature on YouTube that gives more options for speed.

With one notable exception (he's at x1.5) I almost exclusively listen to videos at x2.0 speed ... and there are some videos I wish I could speed it up even faster! If I'm using the video as a tutorial it's x1.0 unless it's a concept that's completely beyond me (think unusual origami fold or new crochet stitch) in that scenario I might even slow it down!

1.25 for many. Not yours though. Your speaking gait works fine for me! Thank you for all you do!

That's a great question. Glad to know it isn't just ME who speeds shit up. I just don't have time to listen to stuff at regular speed. Plus, I listen to a lot of long podcasts on YT. I slow it down if it's something I need to really concentrate on. Otherwise, it's typically at 1.5x or 1.75x speed.

The only time I ever slow it down or speed it up is when I'm trying to be an investigator in my analog horror watching marathons or when someone in the comments says it sounds funny sped up.

1.5-2.0 and sometimes that feels too slow. It really depends on who it is.

It depends... At 1.25 or 1.5 if they'll too slow, of course. Some people are very impressed with themselves, and are very dramatic, and absolutely, emphasis on absolutely love the sound of their own voice! 🙄

1.5 to 1.75, I still can understand what’s being said without having to sit through a 25 minute video. Unless it’s entertainment, which I rarely watch, but if I do then normal speed cus it’s kinda weird watching a trailer at 2x speed

About 50% of the time, I listen to it at 0.5 or 0.75 because I use it to practice music

Normal. In fact my friend has his at 1.5 and we went on a trip and it took 20 minutes for me to lose it and yell at him, felt like i was on speed ugh
