The new roblox update. Now, I'm sure most of you have heard about the update already, tho you might not have heard all the information.
What exactly is going on? What's going on is roblox is adding the chat restriction. Now this new thing SUCKS.
Which countries sill be affected by it? For now it is only affecting people in Australia, New Zealand and Netherlands. However when January comes by it will go out to EVERYONE.
How does the feature work? This feature will make you only able to see and chat with the people in the same age range as you. For example 16-20 can see each others chat. Now not only will this affect chatting with friends or rping, but it will also affect films.
- I myself film in my private server as most of you know. And I use the :m command so all of you can see it on your screen, however, I'm not sure if people that are not in the same age range as me will be able to see it anymore. It is a wcue private chat feature, though it is something you say in the chat, so if you'll be able to see it or not is a question. - Now how will I fix this? There's no metode I can fix it, though I will not end filming. Most likely I might have to stay live and use vc there to tell all of you what to do, though that might be hard for me when it comes to filming with the same recorder. If that doesn't work I'm going to have to use vc in this server. But that might make less people able to join. But if that is what I have to do, then it is.
I myself hope roblox figures out how STUPID this new thing is, because it will not only affect my films and how many of you guys, my fans, that I can chat with. But it will also affect hanging out with roblox as I know some of my friends are not in the same age range as me. Same goes with many of you, I'm sure you have friends that might be older or younger than you. I just want roblox to take the age restriction down and make everyone able to chat with whom they want to, because at this point it looks like they are doing everyething to make roblox worse. Hopefully they might understand what they're doing, but we can't guarantee anything.
