Hey Alyssa! I always struggle with sentiment! Could touch on ways to manage loving a piece until it’s time to let it go without getting too attached? Even pieces not worn often can hold some value. Love love love your channel, it has helped me really transform my own style while also not overbuying

Thanks for the conversation. I try to declutter responsibly but get frustrated selling through apps and how much time it takes. I would donate but hear how much ends up in landfill. Even though I buy a relatively small amount and wear them carefully, things have a lifespan. I’d appreciate your advice.

Hi Alyssa I will be leaving for church at that time but I wanted to say how much your videos have inspired me to buy used clothing and how to look for quality pieces. I hopped on your channel this morning to see how to style a pleated midi skirt for church and you did not disappoint! You are my favorite YouTuber. Have a wonderful live. Ciao!

Yaayy! That's amazing 😍 How do you know that it's time to declutter? Is it a one-time (huge decluttering session with further rules e.g."one in - one out"), or a constant process (with maybe some waves such as sudden splurging, followed by downsizing) for you? Do you really have to declutter while you're on a 'trip' (I don't know if you consider this a trip or a move but I was under the impression that it is temporary)? Where do decluttered items go, do you have any established system (sounds especially tricky in a foreign country, do you already have anything figured out? 🤔

I wonder what your thoughts are on the number of clothes one person needs. Is enough enough at some point? Is it justifiable out of a love of fashion to keep some "extra" things just because? I am thinking back to the minimalist rules about the number of clothes "allowed" and thinking that they feel too constricting and yet I have seen enough episodes of hoarders that I don't want to have any mental associations with clutter. Sometimes I personally have thrown a few items into the "give away" pile prematurely too because even the process of "decluttering" can be addictive. I am curious for you to maybe weigh in on some of these thoughts. I enjoy your channel. You seem really lovely and have helpful thoughts to share!

Good morning 🌞 I'm sorry I don't think I will be able to make this one. But my question is how can we have less things if we live in an ever changing climate? In the UK the weather changes all the time so it's a constant do I wear this or need that? I have things in maybe piles and then it's freezing again and down comes the rain! It sounds wonderful having one rail and only so many items but I need outerwear. How do you manage when you are travelling? There are so many displaced people I'm aware of how lucky we are. Thank you for being here with your style tips and advice. 😊
