If anyone gets the credit of resisting Bakhtiyar not even resisting but kicking him out its Gaudeshwar Lakshman Sen. Umpati Dhar his court poet has recorded his victory over Bakhtiyar in his Deopara Prashasti as follows:- Transliteration:- sādhu mlecchanarendra sādhu bhavato mātaiva vīraprasūr nīcenāpi bhavadvihena vasudhā su-kṣatriyā vartate devo kūṭyati basya vairi-pari-yam mārāṅka-malle puraḥ śastra śastram iti sphurati rasanā-patrāntarāle giraḥ Translation:- “Blessed indeed is thy mother, O king of the Mlecchas, who gave birth to a son so brave! But when our lord Māraṅkamalla (Lakṣmaṇa Sena) was striking down the encircling foes in battle, the cry of ‘Śastra! Śastra!’ (Weapons! Weapons!) burst forth from your tongue like sacred syllables.” The identity of the "mlecchanarendra" is very clear(the verse is sarcastic jab at Bakhtiyar that Lakshman Sen had shot his arms with arrows such that his sword fell in the ground and he had to shout hatiyar hatiyar). Bengal(rather Northwest Bengal and Bihar-Magadh region) did fell but not owing bakhtiyar but later owing to Ali Mardan's invasion and the treachery of a minister named Pashupati Mishra. This is recounted in the bengali genealogy text "Sadvaidya Kulachandrika"(the name clears up the Sena kings caste - they were Vaidyas that's why in Vaidya genealogical texts only we find their vanshavali). The verse is as follows:- dānena karṇaḥ śaurṣeṇa bhīmaḥ paramadhāmmikaḥ tasyamātyaḥ paśupatir abhūd viśvāsa-ghātakṛt yo gauḍa-rājyaṃ lobhena yavanāya samārpayat Translation:- In generosity he(Keshava Sen) was Karna; In valour he was equal to Bhīma - supremely righteous. But his minister Paśupati became a traitor the one who, out of greed, handed over the kingdom of Gauḍa to the Yavanas. Further shlokas related to it are as follows:- rāmapālaṁ gataṁ bhūpaṁ mantrayānujena saḥ | viditvā pāpakṛd rātrau durga-dvāram apāvṛṇot || evaṁ ca daśame tasya abhiṣekāt vatsare śubhe | yavanāṅka-gataṁ gauḍa-rājyaṁ śocyāṁ daśāṁ gatam || vepakṣendu-candrābde khilajī yavanād abhūt | utpīḍita-prajaṁ gauḍe duṣṭaṁ yavanā-śāsanam || viśvarūpattu baṅgeṣu svādhikāram akuṇṭhitam | rakṣaṇa-bāhu-balād vīraḥ prajāḥ rājyam agīpalat | tri-catvāriṁśa-varṣāṇi pālayan akhilāḥ prajāḥ || Translation:- “When King of Rāmapāla (i.e. Ramavati city or Lakshman Sen) passed away, his younger son (Keśava Sena) came to the throne through counsel. But a sinful minister, at night, opened the fortress gate. Thus, in the tenth year after his coronation, the kingdom of Gauḍa fell under the Yavanas, meeting a pitiable fate. In the year Vepakṣendu-Candra (corresponding to c. 1225 CE), the rule of the Khiljī Yavanas began, oppressing the people of Gauḍa. But Viśvarūpa, in Vanga (eastern Bengal), firmly maintained his own authority. By the strength of his heroic arms, he protected his subjects and ruled over them for forty-three years.” Note the direct reference to Khilji afghans. Two names have come up here Keshava Sena and Vishvarupa Sena. Both are sons of Lakshman Sena and both succeeded their father. The thing is post Lakshman Sena there was a partition in the kingdom among three princes Madhava Sena(official succesor) getting North Bengal, Keshava Sena getting West Bengal and Vishvarupa Sena getting East Bengal. This split is also recounted in the same text:- śrī-mallakshmaṇa-senaḥ jajñe putra-kāstrayaḥ | dharmapāla-sutarāñca vasudevyās-tanūd-bhavāḥ || agrajo mādhavas-teṣu pūrvam eva divaṁ yayau | keśavo viśvarūpaś-ca rājyabhājau babhūvatuḥ || pūrvva-rājyaṁ rāmapālaṁ viśvarūpo’nujam-śiśat | keśavaḥ paścime bhāge gauḍākhye’bhūn narādhipaḥ | sa lakṣmaṇanām-rāgīt prasiddhaḥ pitṛ-nāmataḥ || Translation :- “The illustrious Mal Laksmaṇa Sena begot three sons, born of Dharmapāla’s daughter Vasudevī. Of these, the Mādhava was the eldest; Keśava and Viśvarūpa became the inheritors of the kingdom. Viśvarūpa, the younger, ruled the eastern realm with Rāmapāla as his subordinate; Keśava ruled the western part, known as Gauḍa. He (Keśava) was famed as Lakṣmaṇa-nāma-rāgī, ‘he who was attached to (or bore the name of) his father Lakṣmaṇa.’” [Madhava Sen didn't rule for much. As per yogeshwar temple inscription found in Kumaon he quickly took Sanyas and went permanently to himalayas] Another text Hari Mishra's "Karika" also confirm Keshava Sen's rule over Western Bengal as follows:- Ballāla-tanayo rājā Lakṣmaṇo’bhūt mahāśayaḥ; tat-putra Keśavo rājā Gauḍa-rājyaṁ vihāya saḥ. Transl - “The noble king Lakṣmaṇa was the son of Ballāla; his son Keśava enjoyed the kingship of Gauḍa.” Pashupati was Keshava's minister who betrayed him and helped Ali Mardan conquer Lakhnur and Gauda. However Keshava continued to rule over Western Bengal till his death after which it disintegrated into various small Hindu polities but not under the Muslims. Regarding Nalanda, the Sena king Madhusena(or Madhususdana Sen) of Vishvarupa's line did reconquer Magadha for a brief period of time and did renovate the Nalanda Vihara. His inscriptions have been found there.

Had this common sense prevailed among Hindus or for that matter Sanatanis (Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jain etc) we would have never seen the Slavery of 1000 year period and most importantly no one community would have lived with such shamelessly even after contributing in partition of India. 😑😑

Magadh dwar is the best name. I think it was proposed as well. Otherwise Sakrapur (sakarpur in magahi pronunciation) can be used as well. Sakraditya and Mahendraditya were title given to kumargupta who built nalanda.
