I got distracted with the radio dial a lot while practicing for my drivers this year 😂 Especially because I was trying to change the radio to the Beach Boys’ SiriusXM station! So I can relate to Brian alot! I’m a sucker for music Beach Boys music especially so I always need it on when I drive

That last one isn't so surprising when you learn that Brian turned in a short rock piece (possibly "Surfin'"?) for his piano sonata assignment. A few decades later, the grade was changed from an F to an A.

I think his music was probably too nouveau for his music teacher at the time? Maybe it was his first try at composition too? At any rate, thank God he kept trying and gave us the timeless classics that could only come from a guy: “ who just wasn’t made for the times”. Thanks with all my heart.
