Been doing some research for a potential 'Best Bionicle MOCs Of All Time' Video. But I wanna hear everyone's thoughts on what they think are their favourite MOCs or best MOCs that others have made. HMU with your suggestions, very keen to hear them :)

@The_Yeet

I think MitchBuild’s spinax moc is just incredible. It perfectly captures what the set would have looked like if it had the parts budget.

If we’re talking specifically about MOCs that fit into the Bionicle *theme*, BrandonBuilds’ Tahu: Lord of Fire MOC (the gold version) is up there for sure imo! Edit: That or his Kopaka revamp — the version with the scarf.

Recently, I found this YouTuber named Chiberus, and for just three videos, I can already tell that this guy is an experienced LEGO Bionicle MOC Artist! So far, my favorite MOC of his has got to be Scorvax, which is a celebration of all the milestones of LEGO Constraction!

Honestly, and this is just my opinion, I absolutely adore the Hewkii mahri moc created for the Mahri collaboration a while back. Easily took an already pretty cool character design and made it pop in an awesome way. Tye addition of the blue into the color scheme, as well as smoothing out the proportions, really took a good character and made him epic. All of the designs for that collab were awesome, the pridak and jallar ones being particular standouts to me, but j especially love what they did with the hewkii revamp.

Personally, my favorite Mocs are the overkill revamps of characters that make them still use the same mask and color scheme but just super bulky and crazy.

I feel like dr.scorpionx’s self moc is one for the ages.

Right... After some time researching (mostly looking back at BIS videos that I remember containing mocks I adored), I have my personal top 10 list of favorite Bionicle mocks. (Disclaimer: This is subject to change as I get to know - and make - new mocks. Also, I have not only assessed the mocs I have not seen, in videos or otherwise. This list was assessed based mostly on the overall look of the moc poseability, and building techniques, but also my personal likes. Also, these are specifically only Bionicle related mocs - HF is also great but you clearly only said "Bionicle" in the post.) 10. Vezok the Relentless - Hafynx. Very clean look, original teeth design, and he uses a spear and cloths, which is not often seen in Piraka/Skakdi mocs. 9. Spinax - MitchBuilds. Honestly mind-blowing techniques used and maybe the champion of non-purist mocs. 8. LoysNuva - LoysNuva. Really nice to see both as Matoran and Toa (plus LN's Matoran design is easily my favorite of all time). Also superb color scheme. 7. Wraith - Turaga_Maxil. Amazing custom Bohrok! 6. Kulta, the Skull Grinder - Konstantin T. Looks much more imposing than the original in all the right ways. 5. Tahu (Post-Reformation) - WholesomeGadunka_8. My favorite Tahu moc. His reimagined weapons are what makes we think of this moc as the best improvement from the original Stars Tahu. 4. Mantis Tarakava - obsessionist. My favourite Rahi revamp of all time. The techniques and color scheme are dope, has a similar punching function as the original Tarakava, and is based off a cute real-world animal. 3. Exo Bohrok - sapphireishere. Even more dope Bohrok moc! It captures all the good things the originals have. 2. Lava Beast - Jackfrostplamo. The people at Fromsoftware, the developer of Dark Souls (and many other amazing games with the same game design principles) should take notes on these mocs to have some inspiration for their future work. 1. The Cloud Beast - Jayfa/Joss. This creature looks so organic it had to come to my number one spot. I really much hope this list helped you on your research Cossy. Take care, and Happy Building!

For me, the Bionicle MOCs that have stayed in my head rent-free are Shadowgear6335's Sovereign, IGU's Skull Blazer, Ququz's Tahu Remake and DrScorpionX's Self-MOC

Hmm... don t know yet, but it should at the very least be highly easily posable, so that it is still a " toy " that even children can appreciate and play with, to respect what made Bionicle the success it was... ( even thought the first wave didnt had knee or elbow articulation... )
