2024 has been a weird year. Or at least more towards the end of it. This year was more of a focus on me and also self reflection more than anything. Making sure I took of work, making sure I can pay for the things I need to pay for, etc.
We had some highs like finally acquiring a 3DS Capture Card! But I also had some massive lows like back in March when my grandma passed away.
Overall though, I’d say this year was interesting to say the least. In terms of speedrunning, I was able to get The Legendary Starfy finally on a marathon which hasn’t ever been seen, so im very happy about that.
One off key thing that happened was the hacker series. The M&S community get some of the weirdest stories and I don’t get why, but they are fun to talk about.
Other than that, not much has happened. And I’m perfectly okay with that. Back in 2020-2022, I just kept grinding away on speedruns, but over the past couple of years, I’ve been able to tone it down without having to stress over it and play other games and do other things I want to do for my free time. It’s been quite fun, and while I don’t think I will ever retire from speedrunning, I will have to admit that my life has been very close to its peak since living on this earth, and I want to keep it there as long as possible, and that means what’s happening now will most likely not change. And that’s fine by me!
I know we got one MLSS Randomizer on Sunday December 29th at 3 PM EST which I will stream, and that will hopefully be with a new update, but other than that, that’s all I got planned. There might be a couple streams before the year ends, but it will be decided by if I want to do it, and what game.
Anyways, that’s about it from me, I’m thankful to each and everyone of you who has been around to watch whatever stuff happens to me, and I can’t wait to see what 2025 has to offer!
