Dr Ruth Ann Harpur

Yesterday I asked what attachment style you most identify with, but I'm also curious, if you have a partner, what attachment style do you think they are? (And if you don't have a partner is there a particular attachment style you're most drawn to)?

These are the 4 styles

1. Secure
Comfortable with closeness and independence. You tend to trust others, communicate openly, and reach out when you need support.

2. Anxious (Preoccupied)
You really value closeness and reassurance, but often worry about being rejected or not being enough. Relationships can feel like a rollercoaster at times.

3. Avoidant (Dismissive)
You’re fiercely independent and often feel uneasy with too much emotional closeness. You might keep people at arm’s length, even if you care deeply.

4. Fearful-Avoidant (Disorganised)
You want connection but fear getting hurt. Relationships can feel confusing – you long for intimacy but also feel the urge to pull away.

Let me know in the comments:
Which one fits you best – and what would you love to see more video content on when it comes to relationships? Always open to ideas.
