Lets settle this, do you like mint?

@MrEditorBen

IMO, I’m fine with it in desserts. Outside of that, I agree it’s overpowering. I remember tasting it when eating a salad one time and it ruined the salad for me

On a hot day, a drink with hint of mint adds an extra cooling factor.

I’m glad I’m not alone in hating mint in normal food. It’s so overpowering that even smelling anything mint chocolate makes me gag.

Yes, but only as a flavor for gum or tooth paste.

I love mint, but I see how it can be overpowering to some people, and your video was hilarious

Yes, but only in specific conditions

Depends on the food. Mint chocolate and mint hot chocolate is great. Mint ice cream though is a trash pick when there’s so many better options.

I used to think it just tasted like toothpaste, but then i had different kinds of mint chocolate snacks, and started to enjoy the combination of mint (not spearmint) in things like cookies and ice cream

Voted no. Mint and peppermint in food are only acceptable as fresh herbs, as a final touch to a gourmet meal (say, a meat roast with gravy) or as a small dash to an elaborate drink (say, a few leaves to give a hint of freshness to a smoothie) Needless to say, this is not the case for 99% of cases. And worse, they use mint extract, further reinforcing the resemblance to toothpaste
