Back in September 2024, I posted a Google Form for people to ask me questions. I completely forgot about it, but saw this viewer's question when cleaning out my old forms. Apologies, Rollie C., but here we go!
First, my favorite archetype is "The Hero," or some variation. I enjoy a character who is actively attempting to do good, but obstacles keep them from attaining that goal. I often play classic fighter-types who try their best to stand up to oppression and evil in all its forms.
Second, I have a very odd relationship with modded Fifth Edition. At its core, it is a really awesome way to add new tones and mechanics to the game without throwing out the good with the system. Hell, I am running a Star Wars conversion of 5e next month! Still, I am usually a fan of trying new systems entirely if I am looking for a unique feel.
Overall, modding Fifth Edition is awesome, and I recommend trying out these variations to find more of what you like (or don't like) so you can maybe mod your own version later down the line. Or even make your own system.

Thanks again, Rollie C., for responding. I hope this answers your questions.
