I finally got to try out my new motor on my new 4S battery and it had so much torque before I could get to full throttle it ripped the motor mount out that I had just built with 2 layers of wood and I made sure to glue it in really well, when the mount broke the prop literally ate the whole nose section off at about 30ft in the air. It was still flying with the motor dangling and the nose holding on by a thread, 😂 I dead stick landed pretty well considering the motor dangling 2 - 3 inches and the nose all twisted and mangled 😂 I could've swore I hit record but the sun was so bright I couldn't see the screen so sadly I didn't catch it on video DAMN IT 🤦🏻 I've already got it rebuilt, just gotta make another motor mount, I'm going to put a piece of plastic like a credit card in between the 2 pieces of wood, I think that will help keep the wood from splitting!?!?
