This Does Not Compute

Hey everyone! I've been super busy with non-YouTube commitments lately, so I need to take some time off from creating videos -- consider it a sabbatical. (This is the first extended break I've taken in the 10 years I've been making YouTube videos!) I'm hoping to have new episodes for you in early fall, and in what little free time I do have now, I'm still chipping away at projects -- one of which I'm *really* excited about. I appreciate your support and patience, I promise it'll be worth it!

@mtd3v

I watch your videos for nostalgia. Now I will watch your older videos nostalgically for nostalgia. Enjoy your time off and thanks for the great content. I really enjoy it.

No worries, Colin. Take as much time as you need. Thanks for all the effort you continue to put into creating videos; they’re some of my favorite on the Internet. (P.S.: thanks again for getting me into MiniDisc!)

I'm having a great time revisiting some of your older material. Take your time and stay safe.

@dlinkster

Take all the time you need. You’re my favorite YouTuber, but I always have plenty of your existing content to to revisit like that quad CPU PowerMac. That was a really good series because you never gave up.

I enjoy your videos, this is the perfect opportunity to try to catch up on your older videos I still haven’t watched

Enjoy the break. Here in Australia, folk who've been working at the same place usually get 3 months of long service leave. You've well and truly earned it with all the work you've put into your videos.

@edumeli02

Plenty of absolute bangers already in your channel, so I wouldn't worry for a while

@Dinnye01

It's fine. We were worried that you were sick or something. Also, you deserve a holiday as well sometimes, besides IRL commitment

I absolutely love your videos and would rather have the best version of you making one video every six months than a broken one making half arsed videos every week. Take your time!!!!

Family, self, and friends… Should always come first. You don’t need to apologize for taking a break. I will be praying for you and eagerly awaiting the next installment of your great contributions to this amazing community. If you ever need anything, let us know. I’m sure many of us would be more than willing to help where we can.

Working on big projects myself I know the feeling of burn out, stepping away for a bit and catching a breather is definitely healthy. Take all the time you need and enjoy the break!
