they were going to remake the second one, but after the first one "didn't sell enough" (something like 50 million copies in a week) they canceled it.

I love Dead Space. Even, and especially, Extraction and Mobile. Looking at the modern industry, I'd be scared as hell if it ISN'T over, though I would like a 2 remake that will not happen anytime soon, if ever. EA can't let something like this thrive.

Dead Space 1 is in my Top 5 of all time and I finished it at least 4 times (I barely finish any game). I also lived close to Motive and had the chance to visit them. Nice studio and team but the remake is off and I don't like it at all and stopped after chapter 4 or 5 on two different occasions...Dead Space 2 has always been "meh" to me. Dead Space 3 was trash...

I think a remaster is more suited for 2 than a full on remake, imo the gameplay holds up better than the remake everything is a lot faster and snappier compared to DS1.

In a perfect world, I would have liked for them to have reached a remake of the third game and fix everything wrong with it. Then after that, start doing talks of a 4th game.

Dead Space 2 is kind of like The Matrix for me: If I talk about it enough, I have to sit down and replay it. Do you want EA Motive to remake Dead Space 2? Or do you want them to do something else with the Dead Space IP?
