Soooo, yeah, Easter was a week ago. But hey, better late than never, right?
I actually want to use this opportunity to give a little bit of world building to Cracker and Daisy’s…well, world. Instead of “Easter”, the People of Unalva (The planet which Cracker and Daisy live on) Celebrate “Novita” which means “New life”. Originally, the Holiday celebrated the Creation of Unalvian society, symbolized with eggs as they were the truest form of new life. But after the Mechanical War, the holiday was used as a way to lift up morale and happiness, with the modern interpretation having eggs symbolized by joy and compassion. The yearly tradition of Novita is known as “The Eggleg Chase” where a creature known as an eggleg will run around while children try to catch it. If one child succeeds, they usually get a prize like a chocolate flower or other candies. But much like Easter, painting eggs is also a way celebrating, as it brings the joy of creativity to young minds.
I hope you found this interesting, I don’t know why this took me so long. It really should’ve been done a lot faster, but you know me, slower and lazier than a sloth. Also, it was nice to draw the main 4 again, it’s been a while since I’ve drawn them all together.
