Hi James I've been following your coffee reviews and insights for a while, and I really appreciate your detailed approach. I noticed you haven't reviewed any machines that use E.S.E. pads yet. It would be great to see you explore this type of coffee machine. I own one myself and have been very pleased with the coffee it produces. I think your take on the convenience and quality of E.S.E. pads could be really interesting for your audience. Looking forward to potentially seeing this review! Thanks for all your great work!

Have you ever tried Chaga? Specifically, the Canadian variety? They call it chaga tea, but it is a dried mushroom that has an earthy iodine-esque taste and is a darkish(you can brew it dark) brown with a red tint to it. It tastes really good, in my opinion. It's hard as a rock. You can very well grind it and make what I would consider a much closer to coffee than tea, like drink. I think you would, at the least, find the flavor interesting and unlike any that you've tried of yet.....after binge watching your channel today and just watching your "Coffee Substitute" video. I'm very curious what your opinion would be on it and I could see certain people enjoying the flavor.

Hey, that's not connected to the post itself, but I have been rewatching the Video about vegetable stock and was wondering: There is no finished recipe. Is this intentional? Or am I just not finding it?

Would be great if someone could review BRAZIL roasted beans from Waitrose. It's normally £12.50 but sometimes goes on sale for £10. It has a production date and they've really nailed the roast... how can they make coffee so good so cheap? Beats Lavaza and all those brands, this is into all purpose speciality coffee territory.

Hi James, I won't ask you to recommend or endorse a product but can you suggest any Nespresso compatible pods that are worth trying? Tom

I know it can be a challenge to choose a gift for the coffee person in your life, so I made this video to help you consider options at different price points for people who are on the beginner, intermediate, or serious-advanced-hobbyist paths of their coffee journey. I hope this comes in useful for Valentine's day, birthdays, or any gift-giving occasion you encounter.
