This is why I am supporting Bobby Kennedy! He's a bit of a long shot for '24, but voting independently sends a message to the nation (and the 2 party system that has gone awry!). He is a visionary and has actual ideas to improve the big problems facing Americans, including our chronic illness epidemic and terrible diet. He also supports organic and regenerative farming. He has fought big corporations polluting and owning our political system. He's being repressed by the media and corporate interests. RFK all the way! 🇺🇸 🌎

A really funny cartoon from The New Yorker a couple of weeks ago showed some of Trump's handlers backstage at one of his speeches. One handler remarked to the other that Trump had been coherent for the first couple of minutes but had recovered nicely.

When I move to Michigan next year I'd love to work on getting dual citizenship somehow with Canada so I have an escape hatch. Scary times, indeed.

I agree. It’s disgraceful how they treated a guest, a former president, who has a track record of standing for all people, including the black community.

I was surprised by that clip because I was expecting something that would put Trump in a bad light. And your comment made it pretty obvious that you think this puts Trump in a bad light. And really I don't think it did. It was actually kind of a masterful performance. He was in a difficult situation -- a potentially very hostile audience -- and he didn't do badly. One of the journalists asked him if he would take a cognition test. Well actually this event was a cognition test. I don't know how to put a number on it, but from seeing that I know that Donald Trump is far more intelligent that Kamala Harris is. I don't know how much that matters. I don't know how many people vote on that basis. It doesn't bother me that you, ie. "Canadian Permaculture," are probably quite left-wing. You don't have to be the same as me for me to like some of the things of that you're doing. Now I don't mean to say or imply that I like everything about Donald Trump. And the main thing that bothers me about Trump is that I have doubts about the truth of the some things that he believes. But on the other hand, and this may seem contradictory, he is an astonishingly honest politician. And what I mean by that is that he tells you what he is thinking. And that is the opposite of most politicians. For instance, I'd bet that Kamala Harris is trying very hard not to say things that she thinks will upset people. That is one of the reasons her speech is often confused. She has a really strong filter that she's wearing and that takes a lot of energy to maintain. And one of the problems that this makes for me as a voter is that I don't believe I know what Kamala Harris thinks. She has an image that a huge team is now trying to create for her that will win as many votes as possible. But I don't believe that's the real Kamala Harris. Trump on the other hand barely has a filter at all. And that's what I mean when I say he's honest.

Terrible. Saying you can not criticize someone who has a done a bad job because their skin color somehow excludes them from criticism, is in itself racism.

Please hold the political commentary. I would also have a lot to say about Canada. I am a strong Trump supporter and into permaculture. Your audience is broader than you think. You would be better served by learning from the other side than simply ridiculing them.

This has to be AI. Tell me this isn't real life. This is WILD. youtube.com/live/yjN5dvDTeaE?si=e5uaEQXN0imEeutq&t…. Does anyone remember 20 years ago when a slightly awkward scream led to the end of Howard Dean's campaign? And how we have this. America, please kindly get your things in order. Sincerely, your little brother/Canadian hat.
