Matt Pierson Art

🎨 This week in art, I've been exploring short painting studies in the style of Bob Ross. However, I suspect my choice of materials might be hindering my progress. Bob Ross utilizes a medium called liquid white for wet on wet painting. In my case, I've improvised by mixing titanium white with Liquin, hoping for a similar effect. Yet, I'm uncertain if it truly matches the original. To fully grasp the magic, I plan to invest in liquid white and experience its unique properties firsthand. Bob's preference for dry paints aids the wet on wet technique.

Currently, I'm focused on mastering mountains and the scumble effect, creating stunning patches of snowy peaks. Repetition and gradual tweaks are helping me refine my skills. Throughout the week, I've completed six captivating mountain studies. 🏔️✨

If you're interested in owning one of my studies, they are available for $65, which includes shipping. Don't miss the opportunity to bring the beauty of these landscapes into your home!
