Brownies with fudgey icing gave the best of all worlds. The simplest recipes are best but be careful not to overbake. Mine must have walnuts though. Sorry, not sorry. Next on the perfect dessert list is a well made gooey Canadian butter tart. Pastry has to be flaky and middle not eggy. I make mine with maple syrup and once again beloved walnuts, but I also like a few raisins. Actually the last time I made a variation it was an out if this world butter tart bar which was so much easier to make.
