Babies crying is sort of necessary to know if your child is unwell.

ny first thought was that being unable to smell dangerous gasses would be a bad idea, and then i remembered why babies cry if i HAD to pick one, probably babies crying, they can show other signs easily but the dangerous gasses are just too well hidden

i feel like you encounter smelly stuff much more than crying babies. everytime i get on a subway i wish i couldn't smell but i can't remember the last time i got really annoyed by a crying baby

I don't care if you smell, hearing a crying child earraping you in public transport for example, is agonizing.

For some people good smell can be bad smell and bad smell can be good smell. So "no bad smell" is almost impossible because it depends on what is a good smell for every human.

As annoying as babies crying is, it's kind of necessary for them to express themselves. Bad smells can be useful in the same way pain is (e.g. this thing is not good) but to a lesser extent so I'd be fine with it gone.

As a child care worker i’d rather not have to smell shitty diapers than hear crying babies

No more crying babies or nothing smells bad anymore (people, toilets, ...)?
