Hey Glenn, respectfully, if you're trying to encourage the artistry of musicians, then you should also be sensitive to the similar work and dedication that goes into visual art. All artists need to stick together and advocate for each other as opposed to replacing each other with AI just because we ourselves might be working in a different medium. If a painting or design channel used some AI slop for background music, I'm sure that we as musicians would find that lame too.

Those complaining about the use of AI images, bro, it's just a YouTube post. If he was selling merch with AI imagery, complain all you want. AI generation is useful for stuff like this where creating an image is a little better for presentation that just plain text. You would all do it too. Relax.

I'm surprised that people are shaming Glen for using AI-generated images as the thumbnail to a YouTube video. Is the plan to shame everybody into not using AI? Maybe we could use a better plan that doesn't involve scapegoating individuals? Maybe we could be commenting about the actual topic?
