Tata and other Indian car companies have milked dry, people's "patriotic", "desh ki loha", "vocal for local" sentiments. Tata's USP is getting diluted fast, with competition upping their safety game in recent times. Unless Tata Motors and other Indian brands work on their product quality, service troubles and customer experience on a war footing, they will soon struggle, big time. Given my experience so far, I would not buy a Tata car again, for that matter, even a Mahindra, for sure. There are plenty of choices today that meet safety standards with lesser quality and service troubles.

Syros has problematic design especially placement of headlamps and taillamps. Indian driving conditions means you'll keep getting damages on these two and replacement is expensive.

We need new metrics for evaluating car crashes. Instead of relying solely on existing flawed and inadequate tests, we should assess real-world crash scenarios such as one car crashing into another to determine safety ratings more accurately. Tata Punch vs Kia Carnival.

With suzuki and now kia delivering 5* safety ratings, Tata will have tough time ahead. Good though, with ignorant after sales service, needs some hard reality checj

The Tata Nexon was one of the first sub-4m SUVs to get a 5-star crash safety rating from Bharat NCAP and here's how it scores fare against the recently tested Kia Syros ๐
What will you prefer between the Tata Nexon and the Kia Syros based on their safety ratings? ๐ค Tell us in the comments below ๐
