Wow! I can’t believe I missed the NYC Throp-X. Miss Lily’s 7-A is the Jamaican restaurant I’ve dined at the most ❤ Looking forward to going in Negril when I come back to Travellers. NYC is my second home. Can’t suggest DC right now, there is too much going on here. PG County, MD, Philadelphia, PA, and Atlanta, GA are a few. I’ll have to jet out. It would be a dream to attend the mega Throp-X event in November, but I have a trip in December. Please keep these energized and informative events coming!

Throp, you definitely have to come to Hartford CT, a huge diaspora here with lots of young professionals. I wish I could've made the one in NY but hope to see you in the future, keep up the great work.

Throp
I hosted the first Throp-X NYC Connect this past Saturday at Miss Lily’s 7A in Manhattan, and what an amazing turnout it was! I can’t thank you all enough for showing up on such short notice and coming from everywhere: Connecticut, Jersey, Pennsylvania, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, and even Virginia!
This community continues to grow not just in numbers but in the quality of people it brings together. Some of you are deep into your Jamaica journey, some just getting started, but all of you are moving with intention, doing your homework, and lining things up smartly. Just like at Throp-X London Connect back in April, I saw the start of lifelong relationships and real business partnerships forming right in front of me.
Big thanks to Miss Lily’s for hosting us with great food, great drinks, and great service.
Of course The Super Bowl of Throp-X is coming this November at Throp-X 2025 in Negril, Jamaica. I can’t wait to see many of you there. Next year, I’ll be taking Throp-X Connect’s to more cities around the world. What cities should I add to the list?
