Ah yes, Spawn. Appears for all of two panels and speaks a single "No." His parody version from the gag era (Spawnmower) had more of a presence than him. Thanks, Ken! 😒 I'm not even into Spawn (hell, I'm pretty sure the Sonic comics were the first time I saw him), but I still feel offended by how the hero cast was portrayed in this crossover

This perfectly illustrates the beauty of alternative universes being a thing. Maybe not canonically, but in a sense, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG HAS TECHNICALLY MET SPAWN.

Back then when I was young when I was still watching the Archie Sonic cartoons on the TV there was a moment or spawn appeared and helped Sonic I'm just glad they referenced it on comics now

Yep, this was from a "Sonic Special" that had crossovers with Spawn, Shadowhawk, The Maxx and The X-Files. Was the first Sonic Special I ordered as a kid
