I admire the dedication it takes to make a Pitbull DDD.

I don't care what band, DDDs have shaped and expanded the music I listen to, so surely this will be great

Tom Waits PLEASE IT WOULD BE SO AMAZING. Of course I'll be 100% in support of whatever you do.

Hello Mic and happy new year. I liked your Eiffel 65 video and the extra mile you put in with the skits and creativity and editing. I love your Deep Discog Dive videos. It's so much information very fast but not TOO fast and I often learn something new from watching the videos. They also make for good videos to rewatch occasionally. I really would LOVE a Mic The Snare DDD on Elliott Smith. Please Elliott Smith and throw Heatmiser (his previous band) in there as well as I think that band was important to his story as well as Modest Mouse, Quasi, and some other Portland acts. His story has entranced me since I first found out about him in high school when someone asked "Did you hear about Elliott Smith?" I figured it was a classmate with a name like that so I just replied "No what happened to him?" and they said he took his own life or something I can't recall exactly. Anyways when he explained he was an artist I went home and rode my bicycle to the library and checked out all of his albums (and also some Bukowski books as that was a period in life where I loved Bukowski) and I burned them all onto my iTunes. Back in those days checking out CDs from the Library by the dozen (they had a limit of how many you could check out and how many from the same artist) and then ripping them onto iTunes was a simple life hack. I took a lot of comfort in the music from Roman Candle to From A Basement On A Hill as well as the unreleased more rare obscurities. There's never been an artist quite like Elliott and there's something about him that's very endearing to this day. Learning some of his more popular songs on guitar was my forray into learning different tuning as I was already onto fingerpicking style as that's how my brother taught me to play originally and it just stuck. Ah I could listen to people talk about Elliott Smith all day and even if it's all the same information I've heard before I'd love a DDD from you talking about it all as well as your slapdash humor and keen insights. Thanks! -ex

People are talking about Daft Hands but I also think "🌎🌍🌏" could stand for "Around The World", what I'm saying is that it's definitely Daft P

Super excited for a new DDD, but still holding out a sliver of hope for a Björk revamp, she deserves it

If the new one isn't Prince, your next one should be. It'll be a long episode, but totally worth it. I would also personally adore a DDD about Stevie Wonder.

Mic, you should totally check out Coheed and Cambria at some point. Beyond their music kicking ass, there's a lot to discuss about it. Like the fact that the vocalist writes a sci-fi space opera graphic novel that almost all of the albums are based off of.
