Civ 7 was a big miss. I am glad you talk about it and point out the issues. That way they may get fixed for civ 8

I think civ 7 would be a better game if all soldiers had a super flaming sword, and if i was able to romance rogue the bat

They definitely took a BIG swing with Civ 7 -- adjusting one of the core premises of previous Civ games to solve some of the franchise's notable game-balance issues (snowballing, late-game busywork, unique units that show up too late to matter, etc). I think those efforts have been fairly successful from a game-balance perspective, but they've resulted in a game that doesn't really feel like Civ, for many players. And nobody's really right or wrong here, it's just a different game that you have to approach on a different axis. Not gonna be for everyone.

I believe it will be a great game one day. I’m holding off buying ‘til then, appreciating your coverage of the process in the meantime. 👍

not the terrible game, but the terrible company and "marketing" is the issue. if we support this, we will get more and more 150$ games that also have denuvo, as if one of the 2 wasnt enough. thats why you will get these comments every time. its for a damn good reason.

From a civ 1 fan boy civ 7 is amazing and I love the changes. Your amazing with your videos don't listen to them.

I think people are far too harsh on Civ 7. I'll admit that I'm definitely not happy with where the game started or where it is right now. I expected SO MUCH BETTER, but I don't blame that on the people working on the game. I blame that on the companies that push these games out half finished and full of bugs. If anything, I'm glad that the devs are working on improving the game so that it is more enjoyable. At and before launch I couldn't even bring myself to play it as it was so bad, but a few months and updates later I feel like I'm back in my Civ groove again. There's still much to be desired and I wish Civ 7 was a bit more like Civ 6 in many ways, but I can say that it's a playable game to me now and I'm just looking forward to seeing it become great in due time.

Terrible and/or divisive games are usually the most fun to hear people ramble about

People were the exact same way when civ V and VI launched. It just needs some work, don’t let the words of jerkoffs bother you.

The problem with Civ is that it is way overpriced when everyone agrees it has a lot of things which needs sorting so plays like an early access game. Should be priced at 50% of the current price.

Meh, I get that with Cities Skylines 2. Still cover CS2 and for extra measure bore the living daylights out of them with the RMA or Resource Management Act (Jumbo being a kiwi should know the cursed RMA). Which then goes and excites international planning nerds watching later on :P Point being Cant please everyone so dont :) You be you Jumbo
